Research reports 2014

Between January and July 2014, emCETT ran the first Blended Action Research strand as part of the Education and Training Foundation’s Practitioner Research Programme.

Practitioners were encouraged to think of their audience and context before deciding on the format for their research report.  You can access the emCETT practitioner-led action research projects via the theme links below. Please note some of the reports you will read and watch are made using interactive, dynamic tools. This means that you may be able to add feedback or other content. Please be mindful of the work that took place to create these reports and interact with them respectfully.

Of the 60 reports:

  • 49% are digital reports
  • 15% are written reports
  • 5% are videos
  • 24% are posters (5% interactive* posters & 19% posters)
  • 7% are presentations (including interactive* presentations)

*interactive = embedded videos, sound and other files, accessible by clicking links

A downloadable e-guide was produced which contains information about each of the research projects, with hyperlinks to the reports and materials and contact email addresses.

The reports were collated by theme – follow the links to find the reports and a summary of the findings from each theme:

  1. Assessment
