Undertaking practitioner-led research can be excellent preparation for moving onto a master’s programme (if you have the pre-requisite qualifications). Masters’ study (level 7) can open up a new world of research and provides you with an opportunity to think deeply and critically about your chosen subject. It can also help you move into new working roles or prepare for PhD research.
